Built by an Attorney Who Used to Work for the Other Side

Founding attorney Patrick D. Witherington has practiced law for over 20 years and has been licensed in Tennessee since 2002. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee School of Law in 2002 and his undergraduate degree in accounting, with honors, from the University of Alabama in 1999. A lifetime Nashville resident, Patrick is active with the Nashville Bar Association, where he has served on the board of its young lawyers' division, and is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.

In 2011, Patrick made the decision to leave a large law firm to represent real people instead of insurance companies and big corporations. That earlier experience gives him a working knowledge of how insurers evaluate and negotiate claims, insight he now uses on behalf of injured clients rather than against them.

A Second Attorney, So You're Never Down to One Person

In July 2024, Hunter Wright joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Hunter earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of Alabama and his law degree cum laude from New England Law in Boston, and has been licensed to practice in Tennessee since 2023. Before joining Witherington Injury Law, he worked as a paralegal in family law and later as a litigation associate handling family law, criminal defense, and personal injury cases in Massachusetts. Hunter works directly with clients to help manage cases from intake through resolution, so you always have more than one experienced attorney available on your file.
